A unique approach to packaging available only at diamontech.com. Each box holds 50 gems. The plastic cover easily slides over the insert and the stones can be viewed with or without the plastic cover. Some clearance allows even slightly larger stones to slide under the cover without any trouble. The box is then locked by sliding in a thin plastic sheet to provide a tight fit.
The inserts are produced in four sizes to accommodate a range of gemstone sizes; 0-1/2 cts, 1-2 cts, 2-3 cts, and 3-5cts. A small space between rows is just large enough to add A2 size stickers with information about each gem. The leather like covering is perfect for stickers because the stickers will adhere but still be easy to remove without any difficulty.
On the road, the design is perfect because it is light and compact. Customers like to select, and because the stones are all lined up and quick to view, they are easy to select and compare.
For shows they are ideal because they are so easy to set up and because they weigh much less than conventional boxes. Security shipping or handcarry, shipping is expensive and this is one way to reduce costs. |
