Our diamond disc ring (multiple mesh cutting system) is a convenient option for applications which require continuous work with multiple mesh sizes. A coarser grit outside ring for faster cutting is used in conjunction with a finer mesh inner disc to allow for grinding and pre-polishing in the same step without a lap change - a real time saver. Either the inner disc or the outside ring can easily be replaced. Any combination is possible making this product both versatile and cost effective at the same time.
The inside disc is fastened with a nut and washer while the outside ring is attached to a magnetic master lap. The master lap doesn’t wear and can be used indefinitely while the discs can be easily replaced if they are worn. |
